General FAQ

What are your operating hours?

Our customer consultants are available to answer any and all questions you may have related to our offerings, at the following working hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 11 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Saturday: 11 AM to 5:00 PM

The exceptions to these operating hours are public holidays – during which our representatives may not be available.

Does Precious Earth offer resizing services?

In case you are not content with the original size of our jewels, we will be happy to provide free resizing services to you, within a reasonable range as allowed by the design of the piece. Please allow us approximately 7-14 working days to re-make or re-size (as required) your product from the time we receive it, to dispatch the amended jewel. Our representatives will keep you updated on every step of the process. Get in touch with us in case you need to avail a re-sizing service.

Does Precious Earth offer bespoke services?

Precious Earth is proud to offer bespoke and tailored services to suit your needs. Since such services generally require in-depth deliberation and discussions with the client, the jewels may take somewhat longer to manufacture and dispatch. Can Precious Earth arrange for a gemstone with specific dimensions or carat weight?

Gemstones are created as a result millions of years of natural geological processes, involving a plethora of elements and substances. As such, each gemstone is unique, and you will almost never find two identical specimens.

At Precious Earth, however, due to our long-standing relationships with vendors across the world - we can assure you that we will strive to locate a product that meets your particular specifications, to the best of our abilities. In case we are unable to locate such a product or gemstone, our representatives will be happy to provide you with the closest available alternatives. Are Precious Earth jewels hallmarked by BIS?

Yes, all pieces of jewellery (gold & silver) manufactured by Precious Earth are hallmarked by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) - ensuring that you get an authentic and certified jewel.

Is it possible for Precious Earth to provide me with additional images of the gemstone(s)?

Yes. In case you require additional videos, images, or viewing angles of a particular product, please get in touch with us via the contact details provided at the bottom of this page or write to us at customers@preciousearth.in, and our representatives will be happy to provide you with additional information regarding the product(s).

Can you source a gemstone that is not part of your current offerings?

Yes, absolutely!
If you are in need of a particular gemstone that is not currently a part of our offerings on this website, please get in touch with us with your specifications, and we will be happy to leverage our long-standing relationships with vendors across the globe to try and source a product specific to your requirements.

Returns & Exchanges

When does the 14-day, free-returns period commence & end?

Our 14-day free-returns window commences on the date you receive your package, and ends precisely after 14 days – inclusive of all public holidays and/or weekends.

I have lost the lab certificate and/or the original packaging & documents. Can I still return the product(s) for a refund?

For processing any return or exchange, we require all the original packaging, documentation, literature and/or lab certifications that the product shipped with, as highlighted in our Lifetime Returns & Exchanges policies.

In case you have lost or disposed off all or any of these original articles, you may still be eligible for a partial refund or exchange – depending on your unique situation, and the exact documentation that you may not be able to ship. In such a case, please get in touch with one of our representatives via the contact details specified at the bottom of this page, and we will be happy to give you an estimate of your return value.

I have purchased multiple items from the Precious Earth store. Can I return some products, & keep the others?

Absolutely! Even with multiple items on a single invoice – you are eligible for our returns and exchange policies for each individual product purchased, provided you fulfil all the general conditions of eligibility as specified on our Lifetime Returns & Exchanges page.

What is the procedure to send the item(s) back to you?

In case you want to return your product to us, please contact one of our representatives and provide them with your order details in order to raise a return request. Once authorized, please send across your product, (along with all its original packaging, documentation, invoice, certificate, and any other piece of literature that arrived with it) with a reputable logistics service provider at the following address, to ensure the safety of your parcel.

Please note, that Precious Earth will not be held liable or responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of the parcel when you return it to us. Additionally, we are unable to provide a returns pick-up service at this time, and as such, you are liable for the shipping charges incurred for returning the product.

Shipping

How long will it take for me to receive my order?

For metro cities, our logistics partners will deliver your products between 2-7 business days from the date of dispatch (the date of dispatch is dependent on whether you purchase a loose gemstone or a piece of jewellery). For non-metro cities, the delivery may take between 5-10 business days from the date of dispatch.

What is the approximate number of days taken to dispatch my products?

For loose gemstones, it will take upto 2 working days for us to dispatch your order via our logistics partners. For gemstone-set jewellery pieces, since these are made to order, it will take us between 7-10 working days to dispatch your order. For further information, please refer to our Shipping Policy.

How safe is my shipment?

We only leverage the services of reputed logistics partners such as BV Chinai, FedEx, Dehlivery, DHL, etc. to deliver your orders. We also insure all our products and pack them in tamper-evident packaging to ensure their safety. You can rest assured that you will receive your order in its original and untampered form.

How can I track my order?

Once we have dispatched your order, you will receive an email intimation detailing the tracking information for your order. You can simply click on the link in the email or use the specified Order ID/Number to track your package.

What are your charges for shipping?

For all orders within India, we are happy to offer free delivery on all orders worth over Rs. 20,000. For orders under this threshold amount, we charge a flat rate of Rs. 300 per order, which includes shipping as well as insurance charges.

Do you ship Internationally?

We're currently operational only in India. However, in certain special cases - depending on the order amount and quantity, we also ship internationally. Please reach out to one of our representatives in case you want to place an order that needs to be shipped outside of India.

What payment methods does Precious Earth accept?

We accept all modes of payments through our payment gateway, including:

  • Debit Cards: All Maestro, MasterCard, Visa, RuPay, and SBI debit cards.

  • UPI Payments: All modes of UPI Payments including via BHIM, PhonePe, PayTM, GPay, etc.
  • EMI: Equated Monthly Instalments via select bank credit cards including RBL Bank, Standard Chartered, IndusInd Bank, HSBC, ICICI, Axis Bank, Yes Bank, IDBI Bank, Kotak Mahindra, and Bank of Baroda.
  • Cash Cards: ITZ cash cards

  • Cash on Delivery (CoD): For all orders worth upto INR 49,999.

Do you offer a Cash on Delivery (COD) option?

Yes, we offer a Cash on Delivery (COD) option for all orders upto Rs. 49,999. For orders above this threshold value, we require a full payment in advance.

Can I avail an EMI facility from Precious Earth?

Yes, we're happy to provide you with an EMI payment options for your purchase. Specifically, we accept credit card EMI payments from RBL Bank, Standard Chartered, IndusInd Bank, HSBC, ICICI, Axis Bank, Yes Bank, IDBI Bank, Kotak Mahindra, and Bank of Baroda.

Does Precious Earth support UPI payments?

Yes, through our payment gateway you can choose the UPI payments option to make the payment for your purchase.

Which banks are accepted for payments via Netbanking?

All major Indian public and private sector banks are accepted for payments via Net Banking. These include, but are not limited to Deutsche Bank, HDFC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, RBL Bank, Yes Bank, Kotak Mahindra, IDBI, Bank of Baroda, ICICI, etc.

What types of Debit & Credit cards do you accept?

We are pleased to accept a broad range of widely used credit and debit cards issued by most banks. These include major payment networks, as specified below:

  • Credit Cards: All MasterCard, Visa, and RuPay cards.
  • Debit Cards: All Maestro, MasterCard, Visa, RuPay, and SBI cards.
What is my course of action if the payment has failed, but my bank account has been debited?

In the unlikely event that you have made a payment for your purchase and your bank account has been debited but we have not yet received the payment, please reach out to our representatives with your Order ID and the details of your purchase via the contact details listed at the bottom of this page, or by filling in the contact form here.

Usually, in such unlikely cases of transaction failure, your account will be auto-credited again by the bank, or our bank account will be credited with the transaction amount. Either way, please reach out to us so that we remain aware of such a situation.
