Therefore, to assure you of your purchasing decision on our website, we are delighted to offer you a lifetime returns and exchange policy on all the items purchased on our website. We’re proud of our creations, and hope that you find the same joy in adorning them - as we do in crafting them.

It should be noted, however, that these policies vary slightly between loose gemstones and gemstone-set jewellery pieces. This is due to the additional components of Gold and making charges that are part of each handcrafted piece of jewellery. Finer details in this regard are highlighted below.

General Conditions of Eligibility:

Our lifetime returns and exchange policies are subject to the fulfilment of the following general conditions of eligibility. Please note that all of these conditions need to be satisfied in order to be eligible for a return or an exchange on our website, and the failure of satisfaction of even one of these criteria will render you ineligible for these policies.

• The item(s) returned must be unaltered, undamaged, and unmodified.
• All accompanying literature and documentation must be returned along with the item(s). These include, but are not limited to the original packaging, invoice, certificates, and guarantee cards.
• Before the refund is processed, the returned item(s) will first be subject to a comprehensive quality-check procedure, conducted by our in-house gemstone experts. The product maybe ineligible for returns and/or exchange if deemed so by our experts. This process may take upto 7 working days.
• Among other authenticity tests, the item(s) will be checked for signs of wear-and-tear depreciation. In case such a depreciation due to extensive use is detected, only 75% of the invoice amount (barring taxes) will be refunded.

Loose Gemstones:

• 14-day Free Returns: In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with your purchase of a loose gemstone at Precious Earth, we are happy to offer you a 100% refund on your invoice amount, barring taxes, shipping charges, and certification costs, within the first 14 days of your purchase – no questions asked. This policy is, however, subject to the general conditions of eligibility as highlighted above.
• Lifetime Returns: If you would like to return a loose gemstone purchased from Precious Earth at a date later than the first 14 days of purchase, we will be happy to offer you a 75% refund on your purchase, barring taxes, shipping charges, and certification costs - as store credit (valid for upto 1 year) – for use against future purchases on this website. Please note, however, that to avail of this policy, you will be asked to present the original invoice of the item(s), in addition to fulfilling the aforementioned general conditions of eligibility.

Gemstone-set Jewellery:

• 14-day Free Returns: Our gemstone-set jewellery pieces are carefully handcrafted and quality-checked, before being shipped to you. In the improbable event that you are not satisfied with your purchase of such a customised jewel on PreciousEarth.in, we will be happy to refund to you - 100% of the gemstone value, and 90% of the prevailing gold market-value, within the first 14 days of purchase. Please note, however, that this policy is subject to the fulfilment of the general conditions of eligibility as highlighted above. Jewellery-making charges, taxes, certification and shipping costs will not be refunded.
• Lifetime Returns: In case you would like to return a jewel at a date later than the first 14 days of purchase, we will be happy to provide you with a store credit of 75% of the gemstone value, and 90% of the prevailing gold market-value as store credit (valid for upto 1 year) - for use against any future purchases on this website. This policy, once again, is subject to the fulfilment of the aforementioned general conditions of eligibility. Jewellery-making charges, taxes, certification and shipping costs will not be refunded.

Exceptions for Corals & Pearls:

Corals and Pearls are among the only categories of gemstones in our inventory that are actually found in the seas and oceans underwater – as opposed to all other gemstones which are forged under the crust of the Earth. As such, these 2 gemstones are relatively brittle, and when adorned on a daily basis – they tend to decay or are worn-down over time. This usually occurs due to their exposure to elements such as soap, detergent, moisture, and other daily-use substances and chemicals. As such, the purchase of these 2 categories of gemstones will warrant a free return only in the first 14 days of purchase, and will not be eligible for the lifetime returns and exchange policies as stated above.

Returns Procedure & Other Relevant Information:

In case you would like to return a purchase from our store, please follow the steps highlighted below:

• Raise a return request with one of our representatives by contacting us. Please provide all relevant information about your product, including the Order ID and SKU number (as mentioned in your inovice) to the representative.
• Once your return has been authorized, safely pack your product with all its original documentation, packaging, certificates, guarantee card, invoice, and any other literature that it arrived with.
• Send your parcel to the following address with a reputed logistics service provider to ensure its safety, and share the tracking details with us.
• Please Note: Precious Earth is not liable or responsible for any damage, theft, or loss that may occur in the course of transit. Additionally, we are unable to provide a returns pick-up service at this time, and as such, you are liable for the shipping charges incurred for returning the product.
